The Civil Council for the Development of Akkar and the Forum for Good and Development organized a conference entitled “The Future of Jobs in Lebanon and the North” under the patronage of Minister of State for Information Technology and Investment Dr. Adel Afyouni and the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry in Tripoli and the North, Tawfiq Daboussi.
The conference highlighted “the study of investment opportunities and the required professions, to meet the needs of Lebanon, the North and Akkar, in accordance with the vision of the McKinsey report of 2025, and the readiness of universities and professionals to launch academic programs and university disciplines, to qualify students to take advantage of upcoming opportunities.”
The conference was attended by Minister of State for Information Technology and Investment Adel Afyouni, MPs Walid Al-Ba’arini and Tareq Al-Mar’abi, Mufti Sheikh Zaid Zakaria, Bishop Basilius Mansour, Coordinator of the Future Movement in Akkar Khaled Taha, Heads of Municipal Associations, Municipal Councils and Mukhtars. For his part, MP Al-Ba’rini thanked the organizers of the conference in the council and the forum, which are proud young people, who want to develop their region.
